The combined meeting of CSC/ SCSA memberships will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2008, from 7;00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Ballantyne Resort. The meeting will include a presentation regarding the potential consolidation of the two organizations to be effective at tryouts for the 2009-2010 playing season. Former CSC Players Shine in College
Date Posted: 9/4/08
Tanya Cain, '89 CSC Girls Blue, scored her first two collegiate goals to pace NC State to a 4-0 women’s soccer victory over Campbell Friday night, September 12, at NC State Soccer Stadium. Cain scored off of a cross at the end of the first half, and she added the final tally of the night when she slotted home a rebound in the 81st minute. Former CSC Player Matt Brown (89 Boys Blue) is already making a huge impact as a freshman for the UNCW Seahawks. Brown was named Colonial Athletic Association Rookie-of-the-Week on Monday, September 1, after scoring the game-winner goal in the second overtime against nationally-ranked and preseason Southern Conference foe Furman. Brown helped the Seahawks to their second win of the season so far.
